criticism

Why r others so critical of other people? The hypocritical nature of people never ceases to amaze me. I mean they r generally guilty of the same infractions but r always capable of forgetting their own past mistakes to criticize someone else. I know it may make them feel better in the short term. Does it reflect their mental prowess? The media seem to propagate this mode of thinking, irresponsibly, if u ask me. What do u all think?
